Slate: Tuesday Morning Quarterback.

"In other NFL news, Coopervision, a maker of specialty eye wear, has begun selling contact lenses that surround the pupil with the symbols of NFL clubs. Wearing the lens makes the eye appear to be a team emblem. Logo lenses are being marketed first in Bills, Eagles, Raiders, Rams, Ravens, Titans, and Vikings colors. Note that this means a big company's marketing department believes these teams have a significant number of fans of who have taken leave of their senses."

Red Cross will return donations.

The American Red Cross, still under fire for collecting lots of blood it can't use and money it doesn't intend to spend on September 11 relief, says that it will honor donor requests to return donations. In defense of the Red Cross, they have always honored requests that money go to specific causes -- if you donated and said that the money should go to New York or DC relief, they'll do that, but if you just donated to the "disaster fund," it's a general pool. They haven't been very clear on that before. (More on the Red Cross was in Sunday's Page).

BCS Ramble for November 13.

My weekly pro-OU, anti-everyone-else college football ramblings are now a story on here. I still say you have to love a ranking system that was modified last year specifically to get Miami into the title game and that may now keep Miami out of it thanks to that same modification.
