Stallman corrected Dave Winer: He and the other two award recipients split$830,000 (1,000,000 Yen), not get that much each. So that's about $170,000 for Stallman, he estimates, after taxes.

I spent the weekend dealing with the big "F"s of life: fall, family, and football. Bought some winter clothes, spent Thanksgiving and some movie time with the family (particularly my niece and nephew), and the OU-OSU "football game," if one can use a term so loosely.
