Minor apologies for not having many original non-work thoughts in the past few days, but with Apple's new machines, an equipment problem, and updating this blog's MWJ pages hadn't changed substantially in over four years, which was worse than I remembered. They've all been updated now, with MWJ samples from every year except 2001, including the Mac OS 9 special issue and MacsBug for Non-Programmers. The MDJ pages are next, they're only about two years out of date. Fun.)

Not really, but he was painting a darker picture than was necessary because that's how Microsoft works. Adapted from coverage in MDJ and MWJ, this is something like my 15th article for TidBITS, so I finally got around to adding the author badge this weekend.
