Today's safety lesson

Sweet potatoes are hard and fibrous. Therefore, cut them with something like a cleaver, and not something that may slip like a V-Slicer or a chef's knife.

I should be typing "T" normally again within a few days.

"Smoking and drinking isn't what Christ wanted."

So says the paster of Britney Spears's former church after the siren is caught with a butt in her hand in Australia. This, of course, is why in John 2, Jesus attended a wedding in Cana and, to show signs of his power, turned wine into water. "Some hosts bring out the best water first, but you have saved the best for last," enthused the guests.

Or maybe not.
