Although everyone has been whining that putting OU in the Rose Bowl led to the lowest attendance in years, the TV audience did not agree. The Rose Bowl finished 8th for the week, with higher ratings than the "more competitive" Sugar Bowl by a long shot. In NCAA Football, only the Fiesta Bowl had a higher audience. No other bowl even made the top ten.
