I know, I know, I should post more
Over vacation week, I hope to post some of the things Jaddie requested, as well as an essay on politics and business, the story of Best Buy, a Handspring update, and more.
In the meantime, a small change to the Manila templates has changed the comment system here to one like that seen on all the other kool kidz sites these days - a pop-up window with a form for entering your comments. They're still stored the same way, so if you have an old-style link to a comment, it should still work.
Update, 2003.04.02: I reverted the pop-up comments to the old-style browser window discussions because I don't like the way the comments work: no URL, no way to link to them, none of that stuff. I've toyed with putting both in the template ("Discuss" for main window viewing, "Comments" for pop-up window viewing), but this seems even more of boondoggle. For now, if you want comments to appear in a separate window, hold the Command key while you click on the link. I'm sure there's a way in most Windows browsers to do it as well.
