Props to Channel 9. I inquired today of Kim Eubank, KWTV-9 Program Director, if her station would air the new 60 Minutes program or stay with the old charity show to avoid embarassing the President - and, if so, if KWTV would also similarly suppress stories that might embarass Sen. Kerry. (I was concerned about this yesterday.)

Her response, in its entirety:

60 Minutes will air at 7pm tonight.

So a tip o'the hat to the affiliate for doing the right journalistic thing. The online guides don't list the station as showing 60 Minutes (so if you have a TiVo season pass, go make a manual recording!), but the program director says it will air. There ya go.
