Super Bowl 0b100111
Go Iggles.
...oh, and Gruber, too. I indented to say that.
...dang. Robert Weintraub explains in Slate shares my view of the game, but that's not the only reason I wasn't rooting for the Patriots anymore. The writers keep talking about "dynasty," and while the Pats won't say it out loud, they clearly agree. They're not the underdogs that had never won a Super Bowl anymore - they're a boring, dominant team that believes they deserve to win just for showing up, or at least they give every impression of it. I'd root for the Dolphins over these Patriots.
(Yeah, and Tom Brady being President Bush's election-year guest at the State of the Union address didn't help, even though I'm not sure it would have been right for him to decline such an invitation.)
It's been more than a month...
