After the next issue of MWJ, hopefully within about 48 hours, I gotta get me away from here for a couple of days. I haven't had more than about four days off (including weekends) since Christmas that I can count, and it's really beginning to show in my work. Even the blogging has slowed down, and that's mainly a release valve for me.

I was supposed to take a week off in January after Macworld Expo coverage, since the 2004 MDJ Power 25 took place over the holidays, then Apple lawsuits, then Macworld Expo and huge new small products, then quarterly results, then lawsuits exploding into national constitutional issues (as we had feared), and one things leads to another and there's always more to do and pretty soon I'm hiding in the closet lest the mail or UPS bring me more work to do.

I don't know what I'll do, but I gotta do something. Some days I can barely keep all this stuff in my head.
