I have the TV on KFOR (Channel 4, OKC's NBC affiliate, for those not in the area) and I hear their commercial for their helicopter pilot-photojournalist. I paused and rewound it so I could accurately transcribe this text, although I added the emphasis to the dramatic reading:

No other pilot-reporter has more experience in the cockpit than Chopper 4's Jim Gardner! He's covered world events, like earthquakes, O.J. Simpson, and broadcast live pictures of an F-5 tornado for the world to see!

The sad truth is that, at Channel 4, all three of those events are probably equivalent.

See this thread at HDTVOK.com for my continued disappointment that KFOR-DT, the first HD digital station in Oklahoma, continues to be spectacularly incompetent at actually broadcasting HD digital signals. I'm beginning to think the building is on some top of low-level radiation source or something.
