Story: How to smell an Oklahoman hack job
A story in today's Oklahoman looked a bit funny from the first paragraph, so I started reading it, and it got even stranger. By the end of it, you're left thinking that some liberal Democrat has changed Oklahoma law to force judges to release dangerous mentally-ill criminal defendants over everyone's objections.
By leaving out anything that would say otherwise, that's apparently what the Oklahoman wants you to think. It's one of the paper's carefully-slanted stories that, unless you stop to think about it, serves little purpose other than to make Democrats look bad. More details inside.
