BLOGZOT 2.0 on MacZOT.com is a second attempt to give away software in exchange for publicity. This time, the Zot is SubEthaEdit from CodingMonkeys, the highly-regarded collaborative text editor. It's normally $35, but today it's $21.90 - unless enough bloggers post enough links about it. In that case, the price will come down to $0 for the first 3000 people who participate.

If it sells out, as it did for a previous program of somewhat murkier utility, then in this promotion, "MacZOT and TheCodingMonkeys will award $105,000 in Mac software."
