Does Inhofe write his own headlines?
It's nothing new for Sen. Jim Inhofe (Moron*-OK) to brag about how everyone who disagrees with him is the one denying reality - that global warming is a Hollywood fantasy, that the US should withdraw from the United Nations and just unilaterally impose its will on the world (hey, how's that working out, Jim?), etc.
It's another thing to see a news headline treat his spin as fact:
Inhofe criticizes United Nations, global warming advocates
Who, exactly, is an advocate for global warming? I think there are really only two sides to the global warming "debate": the people who think it's a bad idea and understand science and know that it's happening, and the people who think it's a bad idea and don't want to believe it's happening so they ignore science.
I don't think anyone is "advocating" for global warming - it's just Inhofe and his reality-challenged ilk who advocate ignoring or denying its existence because it's just so darned inconvenient.
If he keeps it up at this pace for two more years, even the GOP won't claim him.↩
