A modest proposal
A suggestion for avoiding religious violence from the Internet:
Of course, most Christianists don't shoot up their fellow citizens. Fine. As soon as Christianists give us a foolproof way to identify their violent religious warriors from their moderates, we'll go back to allowing them to have guns. You tell us who the ones are that we have to worry about, prove you're right, and Christians can once again be armed. Until that day comes, we simply cannot afford the risk. You invent a McVeigh- or Roeder-detector that works every time it's used, and we'll welcome you back with open arms. This is not Christophobia, it is Christo-realism.
Of course, I changed a few words there. Read the original and notice who the speaker was.
